1. The Consultation
Every tattoo starts with a consultation! This is where we chat about your ideas, inspiration, placement, size, and overall vision for your tattoo. It’s a chance for us to make sure we’re on the same page and work out the details before moving forward with booking.
2. Booking Your Tattoo
Once we’ve discussed your tattoo and you’re ready to book, we’ll find a date for your appointment. A deposit is required to secure your booking, and this amount goes toward the final price of your tattoo. Once your appointment is booked, you can look forward to getting your new piece!
3. Design Reveal & Adjustments
On the day of your appointment, you’ll get to see your design when you arrive. We’ll go over it together, try different sizes and placements, and make any necessary adjustments to help ensure everything feels right before we begin.
4. Stenciling & Getting Set Up
Once we’re happy with the design, I’ll apply the stencil and give it a little time to dry. While the stencil dries you’ll fill out the necessary paperwork and I’ll get my station set up and ready to tattoo you.
5. Tattoo Time!
Once everything is ready and we’ve confirmed the placement, we’ll start tattooing! Typically we’ll take a 5–10 minute break every hour and a half, or whenever you need one.
6. Afterwards
Once the tattoo is complete, we’ll give the tattoo some time to settle down. Then, I’ll take a photo of your finished tattoo and we’ll go over the aftercare instructions together.
Before you leave, I’ll give you an aftercare sheet to take home with you and we’ll go over it together so you have all the information you need. We’ll settle the remaining balance for your appointment, and you’ll be on your way with your new tattoo. :)

Sometimes, depending on the concept or size of the tattoo, my designing process isn’t as straightforward as smaller simpler designs. And that’s ok!
A consultation ensures that I can see the area we are working with and that I can talk to you in person about exactly what you’re looking for in your next tattoo.
-
No! Consultations themselves don’t cost anything. The only reason that you would need to pay during a consultation is if a date for the tattoo is booked. The payment that is taken at that time is a $100 deposit that goes straight towards the price of the tattoo.

When people pay for a tattoo at the end of their appointment with me, not only do they pay for the technique that I've acquired over the last 6 years to be able to give a long lasting tattoo but they also pay for the time that I've set aside to do that tattoo for them.
Taking a $100 nonrefundable deposit ensures that even if my client doesn't show up for their tattoo, I still get paid for the time that I set aside for them and the time it took for me to draw their tattoo.
That deposit goes straight towards the price of your tattoo and is only forfeited in the event of a no call no show, 2 same day reschedules in a row, or a cancellation without reschedule.

I do not send design work out ahead of time and creative control is preferred. If any changes need to be made to your design they’ll be made the day of your appointment, but there is always time to make changes if we have to! It's just a lot easier to make them in person.

Get a goodnights sleep and eat something before getting a tattoo! About a week leading up to the tattoo regular moisturizing is really helpful to prep the skin.
Please do not shave the area we will be tattooing beforehand, I’ll do it as part of the tattoo process.

Unscented Soap and a water based lotion (I typically recommend soft soap and Lubriderm).

We’ll want to wait until your tattoo is fully healed, 4 weeks is the soonest we’d be able to do a touch up.
